The Transgenerational Tarot
The Medicine of the Soul Tarot is a deck of 54 original collages drawn from transgenerational therapy, Jungian psychology and other archetypes. Each card is a doorway into what your family carried before you. The deck shows how ancestral influences continue to shape our life events, our mental and physical states, and our behaviors. Each reading becomes a small emotional map toward more connection, resonance, and integration.
Welcome
Draw a card and see what your family never said out loud.
How it works
- 01 · Arrive
Bring a question, a feeling, or nothing at all.
- 02 · Draw
Take a card and notice the first thing that comes: an image, a word, a sensation in your body.
- 03 · Stay with it
Read the text, then ask what it stirs in you and in your lineage. There is no right or wrong answer.
Draw your card
Draw a card.
Each draw shows you a card image, its title, and a short reflection. Let whatever surfaces today speak to where you stand.
Choose a question to hold, or write your own. The others will step aside so you can focus on one inquiry.
After the draw
Three small questions to sit with
- What do you notice in your body?
- Who in your family might be connected to this feeling?
- What would you like to ask next?
A note on care
The cards do not offer a prediction. They hold a mirror to what has been inherited, forgotten, or left unresolved. Go slowly. If something stirs strongly, you may leave and return another day.
This is a reflective practice, not therapy, and it isn’t a substitute for it. Family themes can bring up grief, trauma, or painful memories. If something feels overwhelming, please reach out to a therapist or a trusted person in your life.
Personal reading
A personal reading with Sage
You can send me a question, a story, a situation, or simply fragments. It doesn't need to be short or make sense. I sit with your words, draw cards from the deck, and write back what I sense and feel.
For over twenty-five years, I have worked at the intersection of transgenerational analysis, psychogenealogy, and art—listening as a somatic archaeologist to the echoes, voices, and silences that move through family lineages.
Your reading will arrive in your inbox within 24 to 48 hours. I answer as many requests as I can, and if volume is high it may take a little longer.
THE PROCESS
Trust the process
I don't know your specific lineage, and I have probably not worked with your family tree before. So the reading does not tell your story as fact. It opens a space around what you bring, letting the cards reflect possible patterns, echoes, absences, and questions.
This is not a prediction. It is a reading without judgement, offered as an invitation into a more meditative state of attention. Try not to analyse everything or search immediately for an explanation. Alchemy happens when we loosen our expectations, preconceived ideas, and familiar ways of making meaning.
Trust what arises.
What the cards mirror back is yours to explore, and yours to decide what to do with.

The physical deck
The physical deck is available through the shop.
Visit the shopThe physical deck is composed of 54 beautiful collages and a booklet helping you clear the path. The cards are divided into 3 sections:
- Anchors: 10 cards representing core family figures, roles, and positions within the lineage.
- Archetypes: 18 cards carrying the symbolic patterns, wounds, and roles we inherit and enact.
- Concepts: 26 cards naming the invisible dynamics and mechanisms of transgenerational healing.
In your hands, it allows for many ways of working. You can approach in many different ways.
An open excavation. Ask a question and draw one card or more to set a focal point for your present question or state. Cards can come from any section, and further cards can reveal additional layers.
Working with a family member or lineage. Place the figure you would like to work with (the Mother, the Father, or Yourself) and draw from the Archetypes or Concepts to reveal directions and what surrounds that place. You can also lay several Anchors together to create a family matrix, a map of the relationships in your system.
